Sunday, September 3rd

10 a.m.-4 p.m.               NEW STUDENTS MOVE INTO RESIDENCE HALLS

New students will move into the Berkshire Towers residence hall on Church Street and the Hoosac Hall residence hall on Highland Avenue.

Monday, September 4th

President James F. Birge and Dr. Catherine Holbrook, vice president of student affairs, will speak to new students.
1 p.m.                           ENGAGEMENT LUNCHEON
                                     Zavattarro Athletic Complex

Students will learn new ways to get involved on campus, meet new people and learn about campus resources as they visit informational tables, as well as engage in eight activities to receive their free First Days T-shirt.

Please join us for the formal opening of the year as we welcome new students into the MCLA academic community. This year’s speaker, David Orendahl ’05, graduated from the College with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and fine and performing arts. An experienced manager and marketing professional in the non-profit and higher education sectors, he is the director of corporate relations at the Career Development Center at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Top Five career center in the U.S. For the past decade, he has worked to build partnerships with organizations including Amazon, General Electric, Google and SpaceX. In addition, he serves on the MCLA Alumni Association Board of Directors as chair of its Outreach Committee.
