15th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference
Thursday, April 20, 2017
On Thursday April 20, 2017, the College will sponsor the 15th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) to recognize our students for their hard work and dedication in producing outstanding academic projects. "Research" in this case is defined very broadly, and the conference is open to all disciplines.
Any student doing independent research in the natural and social sciences or the humanities, or original creative work, is invited to participate in this event. Students will present papers in a 15-minute talk, or display their work (as posters or art) and be available for discussion with members of the campus and local community. The URC will also include special sessions centered on a certain topic or theme and performances.
This is a campus-wide event, and classes will not be held so that all may participate. The on-campus location and time for each session will be announced at a later date. Light refreshments will be served, and all presenters and faculty sponsors will be invited to lunch and the keynote address.
