Financial Aid Office

ATTENTION: This year, fall 2020 semester bills will be mailed and emailed on July 20 with an August 21 due date. Typically, fall semester bills are mailed in early July with an early August due date. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please contact Student Financial Services if you have any questions or concerns.

As of July 1, the Student Financial Services Office is staffed during normal business hours and will be available by phone to assist you. The Office will return to full coverage on August 17.

Welcome to the Financial Aid Office. We are responsible for awarding and processing financial aid for new and returning students. After we receive your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and any required verification documents, we review your eligibility for financial aid programs on a federal, statewide, and institutional level. We recognize that college is a major investment for students and their families.

When you complete the FAFSA, you automatically apply for a wide range of state, federal, and MCLA assistance, such as Pell Grants, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants, MASS Grants, the College Work Study Program, and Federal Direct Student Loans. You can learn more about how to apply for financial aid here.

If you haven't already, review the estimated annual costs to attend MCLA. Especially given the opportunities a quality MCLA education provides, it's surprisingly affordable.
