2020 Orientation

Welcome To MCLA!

Our Orientation program engages undergraduates right from the start through a college-wide, student-centered program. Review courses for your incoming semester, meet other new students, learn about valuable resources, collect information on campus clubs and organizations, and have lots of fun!

Registration for an orientation session listed below will be available late spring.

June 2020 New Student Orientation

Thursday, June 25th through Friday, June, 26th
Monday, June 29th through Tuesday, June 30th

*Orientation is an overnight two day program, even for those students who will be commuting to campus in the fall. Student should make arrangements to be present for the entire two day program.

Trailblazer Team Orientation Program

During our New Student Orientation Program we will host a corresponding program for anyone that is member of a student’s Trailblazing Team. A students Trailblazer Team consists of the people who support our students’ success; this includes parents, guardians, family members, mentors, and advocates. Welcome to the family and the Trailblazer Team!

Our Program helps members of the Trailblazing Team to gain a better perspective of what their students will encounter. We discuss how we immediately engage students into our community, and provide information on the academic experience, policies and procedures, residential life, dining services, clubs and organizations, public safety, financial aid, and much more.

Sessions are interactive and designed to make connections with other team members including MCLA Faculty and Staff.
