"Research" in this case is defined very broadly to include creative and scholarly work, and the conference is open to all disciplines. 2022 will mark the 20th Undergraduate Research Conference.

Student Leadership Conference

Students presenting their work

For the past 26 years, MCLA has provided students with the opportunity to examine the topic of leadership and build personal leadership skills through its annual conference.

During previous conferences students have had the opportunity to learn from one another about leadership as well as gain some practical skills that can be put to use immediately. Its the hope that those attending this conference will challenge each other to expand their thinking, investigate the diversity in leadership among them, and set high standards for leadership on their campus.
