Profile
My classes bring math, science, and physics to the radiology world. I teach the information
that will bring x-rays, and the processes involved with creating diagnostic quality
images to life. I love learning and believe there is always more to learn. I also
love teaching what I have learned to others, seeing students grow throughout their
time at MCLA and evolve into Radiologic Technologists.
I hold a bachelor’s in marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh. Healthcare has always been
an interest of mine and I decided to make the change to radiologic technology. I started
at Southern Vermont College and when they closed, MCLA re-homed the program, where
I graduated in 2020. I have worked at Rutland Regional Medical Center and Stratton
Mountain Urgent Care since. In fall 2022 a teaching position opened, I was interested
in the idea of teaching and helping others achieve their goal of becoming radiologic
technologists, and I have loved it since.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy outdoor activities, spending time with my family
and dogs, plants, and gardening. I have 15 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, serving
in the construction engineers, travelling and building all over the United States
and various countries.
