Social Work Minor

Description and Requirements

The Social Work Minor provides students with a sound introduction to the history of the field as well as to the major approaches and skills used by social worker.  The minor consists of 18 credits.

SOCI 100 Introduction to Sociology
SOWK 241 Introduction to Social Work
SOWK 348 Social Work Skills
Two Social Work Electives 300 level or higher
SOWK 540 Social Work Internship (required to complete the minor)
