MCLA campusMCLA Campus

One Step on Campus. That's All it Takes.

Set on a 100-acre campus in the Berkshires, MCLA offers a close-knit community surrounded by natural beauty and creative energy. Historic Murdock Hall anchors campus, alongside key student spaces including Eldridge Hall, the Feigenbaum Center, the MountainOne Student Wellness Center and campus residence halls. The Amsler Campus Center serves as the social hub, and in 2025 MCLA announced the upcoming Campagna Kleefeld Center for Creativity in the Arts, a new space dedicated to creativity and interdisciplinary learning. MCLA’s downtown presence also creates even more opportunities for connection and hands-on learning in North Adams.

Student Voices

“Just the views of the mountains around the campus and just how calm it was here compared to being at home. I said, my dad and I had a conversation on the ride home and he was like, this is the school for you. He said, I know it. I feel it in my bones that you will succeed here. And I said I love it so… why not?”

Interdisciplinary Studies

“MCLA is an incredibly close-knit community. It’s the kind of campus where you know everyone around you. And... It’s an incredibly warm place, an incredibly welcoming place, and somewhere that allows you to really be who you want to be and do the things that you want to do as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there.”

Environmental Science

“I think that everything I’ve gotten involved in on campus has been really helpful in building my resume and helping me to find more connections on campus.”

Sociology, SGA President
