Details to be announced.
Leah (Rice) Dvorzak is a 2010 graduate of MCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in English Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. During her time at MCLA, she was involved in several clubs and organizations, including the Beta Lambda Sorority, Multicultural Student Society, Helping Hands, Dance Company, and the Jewish Student Union. Her leadership and philanthropic work, paired with her enthusiastic personality helped shape her time during school and continue on as an alumna.
After graduation, Leah moved back to her hometown of Somerville and served as a mentor through the Martin Luther King summer program held at Boston University. This initiative backed by John Hancock Financial and The Center for Teen Empowerment helped her continue the work she started as a high school student, which cultivated the foundation of leading and volunteering starting with her work study through the ALANA office. Working in healthcare has allowed her to combine her passion for helping people and also tap into her experiences in writing and designing as a student. Her most recent role in Recruitment Marketing for Tufts Medicine has paved the way for her new position as the Social Media Specialist at the system level for the healthcare organization.
Outside of work, Leah recently married her husband Adam Dvorzak in June 2023. Since introducing him to the North Adams region in 2014, the couple loves trips to the Berkshires to fellow alumni, in addition to dining out in Boston, spending time with their cat Loki, and attending Boston Bruins games.
