Course Evaluations
Student evaluations of teaching, also referred to as course evaluations, are administered each semester during the final two weeks of the semester or term. Because each block and semester is a variable length, the use of the final two weeks of the semester will provide a more consistent time frame than identifying a specific week.
Course evaluations will be delivered via the Explorance Blue platform. The FAQ sections below will answer most evaluation-related questions for students and faculty. Email patrick.connelly@mcla.edu with additional questions.
The Office of Institutional Assessment manages the Course Evaluations and distributes them to students near the end of the semester. As noted above, results from the survey are sent to faculty after the survey closes and after grades are submitted. Results are sent to faculty via email and are available in Blue in pdf and web-based formats. All responses are anonymous.
